ควินน์พยายามมีลูกกับเลย์ล่าในเล่มที่แล้ว แต่ลึกๆในใจของเขายังตัดใจจากเบลย์ไม่ได้ เมื่อควินน์ประสบอุบัติเหตุจากเรื่องที่รถของเขาถูกขโมยไป เบลย์รีบไปช่วยเขาอย่างไม่รอช้า และที่นั่น ... ควินน์ได้เอ่ยกับขอโทษเบลย์และบอกเล่าว่าจริงๆแล้วเขาไม่ได้รักเลย์ล่า และเลย์ล่าก็ไม่ได้รักเขา แต่เบลย์คิดว่าจริงๆแล้วควินน์ก็รักเลย์ล่าและอยากจะมีลูกด้วยกันอยู่ดี ไหนจะมีตอนที่แซ็กซ์ตันคิดว่าเบลย์พยายามจะบอกเลิกเขา และลึกๆเขาก็รู้ดีว่าเบลย์ยังรักควินน์และยังตัดใจไม่ได้

เล่มนี้ซื้อมาอ่านต่อเนื่องกับ Lover Unleashed ฉบับแปลไทยที่เพิ่งออกไปเลยพอดี ... ความหนาก็มากกว่าเล่มที่ผ่านๆมาซะอีก เท่าๆกับเล่มของเรฟเลย

โดยเนื้อเรื่องของ Lover Reborn จะเป็นเรื่องราวของทอร์เมนท์ หลังจากที่เขาสูญเสียภรรยาสุดที่รัก เวลซี่ และลูกน้อยในครรภ์ของหล่อนไป เขาก็หนีออกจากคฤหาสน์ของกลุ่มภราดร แต่เขาไม่ฆ่าตัวตายตามภรรยา เพราะจะทำให้เขาไม่สามารถล่วงสู่เดอะเฟดไปอาศัยอยู่กับภรรยาของเขาได้
